Finger drill ode

a drawing by me

Who said, who knew
they have to move
independently,
one by one, curved,
being in charge
of the keys,
remembering
a special spot
on the top of
 black and
white
with ease;
and names,
given to face
a position,
a sequence number.

Bent, they could be
a bridge between
two little strangers:
the short - Mr. Thumb,
the thin – Mr. Pinky;
playing
‘Hide & Seek’ game –
nobody wins, when
the bridge rises up,
showing 'Okay'
for All the fingers…

Before. they. held. only. a pen.

  1. fingers...hands...both important...in communicating...to type...to hold...to touch another...and bridge that gap...for sure...smiles.

  5. Where would we be without our hands, fingers and opposible thumbs? Probably extinct, that's where! But how we take our hands, and what they can do, for granted.

  7. What would we do if we couldn't use our fingers to tap, tap, tap on these computer keys? I like Mr. Thumb and Mr. Pinky playing hide and seek. Smiles.
