The dog- asleep,
imagined himself
as field
of white daisies,
swaying with wind…
His chest rises
in bitter waves-
the
doubts
of life…
So when wake up
he’ll need time
to collect himself
to stand up,
and his first ‘woof’
comes maybe from
all dreamed bees
so enjoyed his
honey petals…

ReplyDeleteNot sure of the viewpoint - and really don't understand the word "gawk" which jarred me. The idea of becoming flowers in a field is appealing and whimsical. I only wish all the language had supported it. Keep writing - I like the imagination in the piece.
