We take elevator
to better place
to envision a dream…
heart slides down
to first floor
thin
incision
on memory…
threshold
after those
3 steps
breathtaking
cold
upbeat code
to enter the show
open the door…
soft sofa
screen on the wall…
……
the art of
reaching the heaven,
touching beyond…
faraway voice
count to 10…
should we return…
Sometimes the elevator is so slow (like in trying to type or search for something on a smart phone internet connection)... but if it is in free fall we are weightless... so many poems on level or file 13 lost in the basement... I am still learning to count to ten while life blinks by taking forever.
ReplyDeleteJust keeping in touch :-)
intrigued, Edgar,what is there?...thanks :)
DeleteThe elevator needs to be high speed, so slow most days
ReplyDeleteOnly one finger to push the button...sorry...:)
Deletepretty cool...i wish getting to that place was as easy as pushing a button and riding to it....sometimes it takes me a bit of effort to get to that place in my meditation....and once there...it is not always easy to come back...or want to...smiles.
ReplyDelete...yep, but it good to try...ths Brian :)
DeleteAt times we need to walk....!!!
ReplyDeletefor sure...again dream to do it...thanks
DeleteI really like this...an interesting take indeed. Love the metaphors :)
ReplyDeletethanks,,,nice to see you here,Optimistic...:)
DeleteVery nice! I too really liked the metaphors.
ReplyDeleteThe elevator metaphor, the art show, fast and slow and count to 10 too (if I return) expresses for me the hide and seek scurry for space, and the need to slide along the matrix for a taste of meditation's rest. Which needs practice, moving on up or down, however you see that.
ReplyDeleteGood question! Sometimes one does not WANT to return!! Thoughtful write.
ReplyDeleteA real sense of arriving into a haven of peace and security, away from all else.

Oh, I like this! Very thoughtful.

ReplyDeleteelevator is very fast.........sometimes we need to slow down too.........
"we take elevator to better place to envision a dream"......lovely!
ReplyDeleteAfter touching heaven and to be sure counting to ten gives one a respite whether to return or not. No, stay on in heavenly bliss certainly! Nice thoughts humbird!
