What if…
a day rearranged its parts:
first would come afternoon –
sleepy, with long lasting dinner,
followed by resting cool eve
full of anticipation of next day,
and only then would appear
fresh,
as if after the shower
a morning
with your ironical face
and coffee for breakfast...
What if indeed..it might make for an interesting day..just like your poem.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm that would put a cramp in things, but could work go to next year?
ReplyDeletewhat an intriguing thought...i like that it appears as if after a shower...fresh and ready....
ReplyDeleteironical face... tell me more!
ReplyDeleteSometimes mornings are the best parts of the day - personally, I work best in the night so it works for me. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI would probably freak out if this happened to me, but the notion is quite fun! It also depends on whether you're a morning person or not... But clever idea, rearranging the day topsy-turvy like this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I'm sure I'll be back, Irene. Peace, Amy
My, things might go topsy-turvy! One's eating habits will be the first casualty! Needs lots of adjustments. Food for thought! Nicely humbird!
ReplyDeleteHank
I love how you did this-the slant of sideways, topsy-turvy always entertains me~ Well Done :D
ReplyDeleteOh, I like this. It would be wonderful occasionally for there to be a day shake-up with things happening in different orders and freshness and coffee to appear LAST!
ReplyDeleteSmiling, I often think about things in different ways. Nice to see I'm not the only one.
