What you know...

Scattered along
floating
pixelated memory
steps aside -
‘when greater depth’s
desired –
lessening of speed
is often required’…
the well in the desert
of thought…
we bend low
to draw the water,
mingle with aliens
from parallel lives
to bask in the limelight,
to grow.

You tapped into
new shoes,
dancing cake walk
with minstrels- easy,
would be life-talk…

leapfrog the puddle
oops…cha-cha-cha
extend comfort zone-
when water meets earth
watch how
new comers
will compile the puddles
into zipped purses –
a history on the go –
irreversible process…-
recycling
what you know…

  2. I like the rhythm of this, and the idea of lessening speed to go a bit deeper--we all tend to go full speed ahead too much,I think, regardless of the reefs and aliens.

  3. There is something about pixelated memory and the cakewalk that really seem to go together. You cover a lot of angles here--with wonderfully creative sound. Thanks. K. (http://Manicddaily.wordpress.com)

  4. Ah, this is nice. The well in the desert of though can be very, very deep; and as for the puddles, yes everything recycles if we only look around!

  6. i agree that a lessening of speed is oft required...esp to appreciate where we are, and where we have been....a little dancing never hurt either...smiles.

  9. aliens, cakewalks, and minstrels all in one poem. I also enjoy the pixelated memory in your opening... it sets the stage (!) for this creative, active piece.
