Deeds

Words
Read? No
I bask in
burning feeling
bitter taste of life
this summer seems at town
for little while with reason
like poltergeist reminds of deeds
we chose, but left undone for late
new day arrives not recognizing me…

  8. Love the personified day in the last line. Adds a very personal, wounding turn to the chain of events.
