Life beneath...

wallpaperdreams.com

At the night
among all
the dark
silhouettes
of strangers-

knights stand up
as the statues:
feet -
at shoulders'
width,

arms are crossed,
hats all broad-
        brimmed right,
        faces- hidden
        in the shadows

of rough secrets,
a sacrament
rite
in a grot
among rocks,

underground
of castle...
ancient
barrels
of wine

scarlet red
in lead crystal,
eerily
sparks in the
quivery hand

begs me taste
to exchange
the persuit
of the fate
on a Groal Vase…

flash: Is it Ball
at the Woland's?
almost queen
Margarita…
I refuse
cheeky offer,

shocked, I honor
my sanity,
staying
on this side of
the scene,

where the scenery,
a plot –
just the guess,
what the life like
beneath…

I remember
this dream...
how far is
a grot…

  1. Very interesting.. a dreamy quality that makes me think of insomnia. -- and so cool that I got back from your comments to this page. It was so hard to identify you from the twitterprofile you comment from. :-) I'm sorry if I haven't commented back more before..

  6. There is a lot going on in this poem. It seems like a scene out of a dream!

  7. I also felt as though I were transported to another time or another dimension. It felt a bit like a Camelot scenario to me. I find the images related to the wine especially good.

  9. really cool rhythm in this...it pulled me right along in the story...the attempt as well to stay this side of the scene...those dreams can be hard not to be sucked into....pretty cool....

  11. The knight of nights… I don't truly understand it, but I got that it was a dream right away and let it flow out… as we are supposed to do with dreams - revel in the imagery!

  13. It can come to this. A struggle to sleep and dreams that go along many ways. Great imagery humbird!

  14. An interesting dream..I certainly could read some symbolism into this
and the struggle to get some needed rest..

  15. has a sort of feel from that 80's animated film, Heavy Metal - taps into the subconscious, somehow ~

  16. Nice presentation of your dream. There are one or two word choices that puzzled me, Irene, but I enjoyed reading this stream of images. So glad I found you ... smiles

  18. Oh, but I feel the draw to penetrate the veil. To join them in the surreal light and rain-sparkling streets through the rift.
