Un-birthday present

Another old pain/ball/clot burst! -
the pattern lulled back
tucked right
morphing
in modest
un-birthday present
of night -
genuine,
while you slip –
nightly swan,
wings wide open –
in
a prophetic dream,
distracted
by wizard wand
of dawn…

  2. I fear the clot is on or in the body or eye and not the sun or star or planet in a modest night (cool image). If only the swan would stay and not slip away like Eros come dawn. What an unbirthday that would be. But it couldn't be this beautiful, could it? Love.

  9. One can expect lots of unexpected and can be most unsettling. Nights can be frightening! Nice lines humbird!

  11. This has a surreal effect ~ Love this part:

    prophetic dream,
    distracted
    by wizard wand
    of dawn…

  12. The "wizard wand of dawn" part was a nice little addition to this wonderful piece about the birthing of the universe and our solar system.
