I'm listening

'Fighting forms' by Franz Marc

I said: I’m listening…
the music takes its flight,
the nimble fingers waking up the angel flurries.

I’m listening
to bursting climax,
the stories’ birth in lightning glory.

The sounds circling
in a joyful jive,
so freely soaring and pause in ecstasy.

I know -
simple way to life,
and feel through music,
channeling the love’s oasis.

  5. Music is my constant companion. It takes me places, inspires me, comforts me. It lifts me up and calms me down. Oh, listen to me going on - sorry, I was getting carried away! A lovely poem.

  9. I wondered, as I read your piece, if you were caught in a particular piece of music as you put words to paper ... I was immediately smack dab in the middle of the Hallelujah Chorus ... what a terrific write!

  12. I’m listening
    to bursting climax,

Many often missed it! When one listens the effect is deafening. One can well respond in positive ways after that. When not listening our response do not hold water and these just fizzle off! Well said humbird!

  17. Music has always been a motivational object of desire for me, but I mostly listen rather than create it. I can close my eyes and imagine living on a personal oasis when I listen to it. You message of sharing love with another, no matter what type it is, is very motivating.
