The trial

“keep letting water steal soles
and keys to the poems”
E. Rinaldi

Day comes: you know
where you stuck
feel *take a breath*
fragmented heart
will show
where soul
lurking thru hole
in traveling bag
back in time
to find stolen smile
playing the slides
in the flower bed
of enlightenment.

I’m trying to run
leaving blue prints
poems behind
you can follow
wrong! this is mine…
my only way-
the sea shells aware
ocean will know
swallowing them
lo-vin-gly…

the trail of
milestones and falls.

  6. Milestones and falls, through it all, we just need to keep on writing our own poems with our own voice ~ Happy weekend to you ~

  7. This poem showed me that the feeling, the beauty around us and all sensations are felt individually. We like to think that they can be shared but not wholly. We might nod in agreement but others cannot feel exactly the same as us.

  9. Life is composed of a lot of 'milestones and falls.' Hopefully the milestones surpass the falls. Smiles.

  10. I can see them, lying there, foam-edged like lace.Nice.

BTW, the link put your comment in spam, so I took it out. They didn't actually say much there. We can tell he was depressed after his wives' deaths. Not surprising. We'll never know.

  16. I like the idea that our poems are blueprints for people to follow.....a record of our "milestones and falls." Cool write, Humbird!

  17. Our poems are blueprints, yes! I'd like to think that people who read what we right can truly see our soul and our heart. Good writing, Humbird :)

  18. A trial, yes, those falls and milestones. I find it true that the ocean swallows them so that ultimately no one can follow--but we pass the trial, we always are not guilty, we always are winners. Sometimes even I can not follow what i recorded in my poetry, and sometimes poetry is the only way. I enjoyed this (whether or not I received the truth you intended).
