Grand

What demimonde
has the right
to judge
with candle on or off
the way I peel
the rind of oranges
as transgression of rites?

Despite the abomination
of isolation
I keep the allegiance
to the asylum
Gray
I see myself
reborn
in Africa.

  2. Not too many would want to pledge their allegiance to an asylum, but there are those odd few out there!

  6. You always handle your assignment with flare. However..."What demimonde
has the right to judge," I felt What demimonde has the right
    to "be"judge?

  8. Yes, society has a tendency to dictate how we should live down to the smallest details, even the way we should peel oranges. Fortunately we have a right to refuse to conform.
