So much depends upon...

pinterest.com

So much depends upon the card
you pulled of pack, where have been born
the spread, the suite, symbolic art,
the colors/numbers’ vertebra.

So much depends upon the side
you driven to bestride the way
with mirror reflecting lie
unclear patterns, - to refrain.

So much depends upon the will
when you decide to move, transfer
under celestial stars – reveal
your inner power fearless spur.

  1. I wonder what life would be like if each day relied upon the flip of a card, a destiny preordained, instead of random sets of happenings. Maybe everything is connected after all.

  7. It's all in the draw of the card to some comes sorrow and fortune. I have drawn cards and been amazed at how accurate they really were.

  8. ...one reason I have no desire to ever have my cards read - I might put too much emphasis on them - misunderstand the meaning - etc. :)

  10. I think the cards are mirrors of what we know... to find that inner self... so i guess so much depends on the card, but not necessarily what card

  16. reveal your inner
    power fearless spur

That's the way it should be. One must not be made to accept quietly but to face it head-on and take a stand!

  18. You know I think will and self-control are really under-emphasized today and your poem, with its wonderful internal rhymes, seems to focus on these things. It's really cool, thanks. k. (Manicddaily)
