Mystery of Joy

'Occurrence' by painter Eric Aho

Come back to retreat,
stop by nostalgic
an eerie tides atmosphere,
guarded by stoic
reality of ‘c'est la vie’.

Contrasting key-images
are passing through
a translucent tunnel
of theatrical gesture.

  2. I suppose we are all bit players in this life's opera; the unbilled chorus in the background.

  3. Interesting translucency! To tunnel our bit parts through such a tunnel is to stage them, indeed.

  13. these words stood out for me: nostalgic/ stoic/ translucent/ theatrical. those are magical words to me and my mind was in the 80s/90s, the Monalisa, Edward of Twilight, and the Prismatic Tour of Katy Perry. very artsy!!!
