Who cut the ground
under my feet
the earth moves
the pillars of truth
rearranged…
my old friends
hold hands apart
who’s wrong with me
eyes look within
who’s wrong with me
eyes look within
the strangers…
collecting the thoughts
the purpose they seek
by a foot of the hill
meeting the souls
descending…

DeleteI read this a few times. There is a lot of meaning one can extract from this and allow it to touch those tender places (such as fear and hope) that are giving us a sense of instability. The earth is indeed moving. We must hold tight to our truth and love.
ReplyDeleteThis descent sounds like one of darkness.
