Quirk

– Zwobel ~ Photo Challenge ~ Mindlovemisery's Menagerie

It was my quirk
to go one-willed
as if in circus,
as if a girl on the
shiny rolling ball:
white dress,
crimson shoes…

Not my fault at all
that arena
had continued
throughout  the tent
to the wide open
tantalized burnt field:
raw grit/gravel,
cobbles and dirt…

Grounded,
          busted,
                   swallowed by sadness…

it dawned on me –
How to get booked solid…

Inspiration: photo prompt by Neeraj; reading the book by M. Port "Book Yourself Solid" , thanks!

  1. Ha.
    When showing off,
    that will tend to happen,

    though in order to succeed
    you must surely fall
    quite a few times.

  2. Very creative, it flows like flags in a perfect wind! It's also a perfect answer to her future success! That's a great photo too.

  8. To bring the acting outside the confinement of the safety of the tent is indeed not the best of things.

  9. I wonder if it is true that at some point in time everyone wishes to join a circus.
But behind the scenes there is work and practice, practice, practice.

    Thanks for your visit.

  10. ah it is not an easy path at times - and to being able to dance well we need lots of practice and getting up after falling quite a bit me thinks
