No desire to wilt
snow storm,
ice and sleet
winter
shivers mischievously.
Snowflakes'
crystals growths
clung to
windows screen
old damp
foggy motif glee.
Big trucks, busses,
cars
merge thru
traffic stream
highways'
veins, capillaries.
Groundhog
entrance myth
hovers roofs
and dreams -
six more
weeks, thought, may varies...
Enjoyed.. Nice attempt to control..
ReplyDeleteVaries indeed as the crappy snow keeps coming, groundhog is full of crap though
ReplyDeletewho knows...maybe we will get 6 more weeks...
ReplyDeletewe have yet to really get a winter...but its been known to snow
in march so...driving in it...with all the crazies out...i would not mind missing that...
This piece was fun humbird..filled to the brim with excitement...infectious and happy :)
ReplyDeleteHope so...lol...love the cartoon. :)x
DeleteYes, I heard too - six more weeks of winter. I hope the groundhog is wrong. Smiles. I have had quite enough 'snowstorm, ice, and sleet.'
ReplyDeleteI have no desire to wilt either. Bring in spring and warmth!
ReplyDeleteFor us its longer, sigh ~ More ice is coming our way this week ~
ReplyDeleteGrace
Here we will hopefully have a little more.. We are now entering the good part of winter as the sun returns..
ReplyDeletei was waking to snowflakes this morning... such beauty though unfortunately it didn't stay... sigh
ReplyDeletesuch lovely imagery
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny that we trust the groundhog? I like all your references to forms of ice and snow.
ReplyDeleteWe really need authority for that...lol
DeleteI love "winter shivers mischievously". Cool!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting write, humbird. I love all the imagery you provide. Very nice :)

This made me smile! We finally have some rain in California--so I am hoping for more before we move into spring
ReplyDeleteI say we are in for a much longer winter this year. As the white stuff continues to shower upon us.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how sick of it you must be getting!
ReplyDelete"Mischief" and "glee" set the mood here. I don't think it matters what the groundhog sees. Neat!
ReplyDeleteWe are getting all of winter this month...I have begun to hate groundhogs!
ReplyDeleteDonna@LivingFromHappiness
Looks like it is bound to be a long cold season in the offing. We can do well to have it to counter the sun here in our region. Wonderful lines humbird!
ReplyDeleteHank
That ground hog and his lies. There was no winter this year.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
