Lion love
When I touch him…
a chin lies on the chest,
swelled love drops,
foggy thoughts,
leaning toward,
asleep…
while music on,
people move
in the rhythm flow..
When I touch him -
He awakes.
When I touch
his shoulders
offering to heal…
what was that
challenged him,
his creative will,
what’ve come up
as a block
to protect the past,
to resist the change…
“Everything
I touch
let become a gold”
mantra/chant/exhale
Let the issues go;
open to be healed
let the light in.

A simple touch can sure be healing if one lets it
ReplyDeleteYou will tread on the lion and the cobra for some reason came into my mind...strength is indeed in touch and the light inside
ReplyDeleteIf only everything we touched was in a way that it caused greater value - gold.
ReplyDeleteWe need more healing touch in this world. Instead of hurting.
I love that first heavy-with-sleep verse: Swelled love drops, in the rhythm flow. Wow.
ReplyDeleteBy the time we get to the gold, the healing is established and loving is effective. Oh, my, what a healing poem.
I like the idea of opening up ourselves to healing! Hands palms turned up is such a simple gesture but so very symbolic.
ReplyDeleteYou've certainly touched me with your poem, and even better yet is that precious most touching photo.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed.
ReplyDeleteAh yes!
ReplyDelete"Let the issues go;" & "let the light in."..the only mantra to live meaningfully....a touching poem...
