Oh, those frivolous
speedy toes
happy
audible,
worn warm socks

gnarled
to roots
walked on
the poppies
field
at the age
of 13
with no boots

as if strange
inklings
out of blue
literary prompt
with no coffee –
not true.

    if i am in the field i would rather bare feet than socks...personally
