‘Today - Monday – the time
to make spring plans for weekend’, -
suggests jazzman voice on the radio
in paladin tone...
I tend to hear:
really don’t care if

for the birds in my yard…
something I’ve heard
before and ever experienced it...
It’s cathartic,
don’t do anymore
before temperature rise,
for treasure hunt chore…

ReplyDeleteSpring cleaning is for the birds!!
ReplyDeleteBut I could tick off quite a few things that need throwing away from your list.
I love the list of things to throw out now. LOL. Love the birds in your poem, too!
ReplyDeleteLOL...ugh! Yes Spring cleaning time is upon me. But lists and goals can help it be a bit less painful.
ReplyDeleteNice one
ReplyDeleteMuch love...
I wish I could get rid of few things - but I always find things that I need when I try...
ReplyDelete"Yes, dear, let's clean out the closets, but why do we always start on my side?" - I liked this very much. Loved those birdies.

ReplyDeleteSpring is time for play. Cleaning out is for depressing weather days. Love your list!
ReplyDeletemy mantra - nothing on the floor except a few baskets - never anything under chairs or beds. With six kids that is HOW I keep my sanity! Cute poem.
ReplyDeleteYeah, who gets drunk on spring and cleans house?
ReplyDeleteAwesome extensive list of things to do away with and then your response...birds have a way smaller house for cleaning...smiles
ReplyDeleteOh, it is the time of the year for clearing clutter...Love the reminder
