Touch
keyboard’s
symbols,
letters, numbers,
swinging solitude
under
the fingers
to recognize
the power
not to attain,
but create, -
hOver & hOver
again
digging in
the keys,
stretching
the muscle of
‘new normal’
reality.

So much power exists in the touching of the keys indeed. And perhaps the 'new normal' can be anything we wish, for the moment, it to be.
ReplyDeleteNormal indeed to just type away and not a word out of ones mouth they have to say
ReplyDeletenot to attain but create...truth...if you get that cart and horse backward
ReplyDeleteyou get all out of balance
stretching the muscle of the 'new normal' love that.
ReplyDeleteI like the attention to hover, into something new!
ReplyDeleteLiked.. Is there a new normal, or more of the same just hiding?
ReplyDeleteMore of the same with an intention can transform in new form the subject of affection...like raindrops falling at the stone...for instance ~ in philosophy: quantity transforms into quality ~ Thanks.
DeleteI have to be careful not to be too addicted to the keyboard ~ Like the ending specially:
ReplyDeletestretching
the muscle of
‘new normal’
reality.
"hOver & hOver"
ReplyDeleteHovering...over and over.
I like the idea of creating rather than attaining...
Cool write, humbird! Funny, when tapping the keys, I am solitary but never alone, as there are so many of you on the other side of my screen:) I like the "stretching the muscle of new normal" very much!
ReplyDeleteTo recognize the power not to attain but to create---i like that! Smiles.
ReplyDeleteI guess writing on a computer is a new normality of expression - I seldom use the notebook I started writing my poems in any longer.
ReplyDeleteI can't forget how keyboard pulled out a new 'me'....' the power
ReplyDeletenot to attain,
but create, -'...my favorite lines..
