My thoughts - dancing, prancing horses to whip up the poem;even dirty obstacles become luxury of inspiration, rolling on railings through the open windows of subdued apartment, where the primadonna at the balcony singing in the golden voice, breaking glass bricks of misunderstanding…Prepare the horses
ahead of the winter
to hear “Jingle bells”
A few obstacles can inspire and help us break free, as jingle bells comes a playing
ReplyDeleteAh yes, it brings happy moments to mind, and well, winter!
ReplyDeleteit is precious when even obstacles turn into inspiration and opens up new paths... i once rode in a horse sledge carriage through a wintery forest and we sang jingle bells - it was amazing - your last lines brought back those memories

I am not sure I am quite ready to hear "Jingle Bells," but I do know preparation is in order!
ReplyDeleteChristmas is coming way too fast this year.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe it is less than 3 months away.
There is certainly preparation to be made.
Anything can be inspiration, often it is all about
our perspective.
I love the distillation of thought...i could picture the scene clear as crystal...fine as thought
ReplyDeleteEven dirty, even broken ....bring on the horses and the bells!
ReplyDelete"dirty obstacles"
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think of the tired and filthy piles of snow beside the roads in New England after a long winter. (I lived there as a child.) You did wonders with these words!
Delectable!
