Gifts

 Sandra Cohn Art

After long winter
the spring - revelation,
a gift of heaven…

After long drought
the rain feels like
first baby tears,
the fear of breath...

After decade of
impregnable  veil
when walls fall
the hot air
embraces the
vacuum…

Insight

 Ben Will Art Studio
'Insight' by Ben Will

These walls come not easily down
for you,
dependable,
caring one,
tagged
time ago
to hold for…

eye for eye…
no scales to convert…
the rules – not discussed
till last day’ bottom…
silent questions haven’t
been answered,
a lesson? this is the lesson,
enforced to learn…

detached, but hold the sight
over faces on the big picture
evolved soul…

Bi-cycle

1886 Coventry Rotary Quadracycle for two
1886 Coventry Rotary Quadracycle for two ~ en.wikipedia.org

No matter how
many times we fall
twirling a millage (mph)
moving in a blurry maze
a weak of
trying to catch/reach
the target or
run from counterfeit
obstacles
groan in absurd
to absorb
déjà vu of the lesson
in. the. circle.
the truth within.

It’s worth
to get up
starting over,
and try to roll/cross
on the other surface,
raise over prejudice
meet other folks,
faces,
lend helping hand.

Playing solo? – for while,
the world rests
on the shoulders of
more than one.

Dimensions

abstract.desktopnexus.com

The sea’s devouring the stars
falling from sky
pulsing through warm navy gums
sometimes
swallowed by leaping fish
on the reef,
get enlightened,
high with the ebbs and flows
of tides.

They stare into night
at you, wandering:
why my eyes
shine like stars
reflected all pleasures,
locked for while
in true shell
rubbed with sand for clarity;
longing to touch the thin skin ‘if’...

And I’m moaning
anticipating -
between the later & now -
the liberty.

Oh, yes, I’m here…undone
yet, peeking in
tomorrow door:
new ‘wants’, goals, gifts –
in the way we perceive…

but I will remember
preludium,
the pain
of metamorphosis…

Close

 Martin Stranka photos
'Close' ~ Martin Stranka

She rubs the shattering dreams
thru the glasses of clumsy clown
falling from shimmering sky
leaves no chance for salvation…

The sigh…longing soul insight…
as if swinging medieval axe
brings the power to travel
back into time…

Vanished smoothly…
to settle for less
on the land of indigenous people…
listen! someone calling your name…

Blow the horn

en.wikipedia.org ~ Bumper Cars

They say: ‘press the button to call a nurse’,
and immediately a tremolo alert sounds -
first aid on the go, highlighted red cross,
you’re being helped, compassion –abound.

Remember, we/kids in amusement park:
look! speed cars! electrical power
‘press the button to signal alert’
-Oh, late, you bumped in another car.

We’re playing and learn…to have a fun.

Whether goodness or badness in your life
whichever side of moral (do) you support
to burn the valves  to survive
where the limit to prudent effort…

what will you sacrifice when the light so high –
blinded sight, all hues mixed-up
where is yellow/blue/red/white?

They said: ‘press the button
to call a nurse…’

A cure

 Salvador Dali
Chair With the Wings of a Vulture, 1960, Salvador Dali

The shells are voiced
across the ocean
the song of candles
sacred light

your eyes have poked
a mighty power
like pack of needles
spread for miles

on wings till landing
rotors spinning
the wounds of passion
worn away

untamed shadows
undigested
stored as the cure
for better day…
