I invoke the fire in
my stillness,
sense of detachment, and deaf,
stiff monotonous lives
broke…
to release the stress,
battlefield’s agonized/moribund
bodies and souls…
now aroused,
querying: what were those wounds,
still alike vagabond in the veins/blood,
fed into cells,
programmed veracity…
