MLMM ~ Writing Prompt #163, Collage #25
Cheer, cheer…
and cardinal appears -
a cycle, season’s call
keep faith
through year of days and nights
despite the errors
a broken branch
sometimes not fatal -
the sign of growth
a leaf, a fruit, a flower
you’re too big for fragile tree
stand tall – to feel your power
before you fall apart
the task – to recreate,
to plant new sprouts

Sometimes we need to fall apart, so we can grow stronger roots and limbs. Leaves fall to make room for new buds to grow in the spring.
ReplyDeleteThat is true, a broken branch doesn't mean it can't grow back stronger
ReplyDeleteSo true that before one falls apart one should recreate for the next generation!!

This is a call to really care for oneself when the going is tough. Not to give up but fight to do good.

Isn't curious that most of the natural world knows what its purpose is yet humanity in its stupidity thinks success is destroying the natural world and disdain much of their own kind for a lifetime of profit. We have no idea of what standing tall means.
